These have worked well for handling blackberry stems (carefully).I got pricked a few times by some larger thorns, but I was able to do a lot of work with these.Someone else recommended welding gloves for handling blackberry bushes.These are very comfortable though since I have small hands.I also like how they extend way up the forearm, almost to the elbow.I like these so far.
