Royal Albert Old Country Roses Golden Pearl 5 Piece Place Setting Review

I am very cross with Amazon and the Fine China Store.

I wanted an additional place setting for RA Old Country Roses and NOT RA Old Country roses Royal Pearl.

Thought that Royal Pearl was simply a rhetorical advertising flourish. In short: meaningless.

Turns out I was wrong.The Golden Pearl is different in minor decorative details and different in structure. It does not stack with RA Old Country Roses. It has a slightly different shape.

Furthermore, my sister, who examined this place setting said that it was probably not china but ironware or some such barbarous variation.
