
It is great for single crust pies like a Meringue Pie but a double crust pie like an Apple pie it tends to butcher the crust more than an knife would. I think I would recommend the pie and cake marker which has spikes on the blades and it just marks the pie.Then you use a good knife to cut the pie.But like I said it work fine on single crust pies.
