Just be aware that the roses are sent when ordered -- so if you are in a cold zone (e.g., zone 5 or 4), expect the roses to come when ordered ... they did not wait until late April or early May (as other nurseries do).
Regardless, even with keeping the roses in their pots for a couple weeks (until it warmed outside) -- the health of the roses continued. That means Hirts shipped very healthy plants.
The only thing I question is the advertisement on Amazon page listed "only five left".I bought four, and still (several weeks later) the ad still reads "only five left."Same with other roses via Hirts (e.g., the Candy Oh!).Are there really only five left, or is this a way to get customers to make quick decision?
Regardless, I am very happy with the quality, health, and vigo of the roses received from Hirts.
One last suggestion - regarding all roses listed online, regardless of nursery:should show at least the following info ... planting zone, height attainment for mature plant, bloom period (once-only, repeater, continual, etc.).
