I've researched for many weeks now looking for the perfect comforter set w/ matching curtains, pillow covers and valance/ curtain sets. My criteria- I want a tropical looking design not flowery looking, finding a (somewhat) soft comforter set that would be tough enough to withstand our little King Charles Cavalier Spaniel dog, would brighten up our bedroom, and last but not least- (a request from my husband)would not be too "flowery" reminding him of his mother's house! Delievery was quick- as what was stated. When I took the comforter set out of the box boy was I surprised! The pictures online didn't show just how beautiful the tropical pattern was. The comforter is made with quality durable material and is still soft to the touch. The patttern is on both sides and there is green/ white piping around the comforter. The colors are bold which brightens up our bedroom and has even made our room look larger. With all the bright colors it was easy for me to find matching colored sheet sets that were not as expensive. The curtains are beautiful, heavy enough to keep out the morning sun, well made and easy to hang. We have two long narrow windows where I decided to only use the valance because it would have overwhelmed the window frame. The larger french doors windows I used both valances and curtains. A suggestion- make sure to measure your windows carefully. Or, do what I did buy enough valances and curtains to test them out on each window/ door. I bought two european pillow covers which are unique in design. On one side there are green/ white stripes. On the other side there is the matching flower pattern. There are two ties on one side that hold the pillows in. I have received many complements on the beautiful bold colors, the uniqueness design of the european pillow covers, along w/ more compliments of the overall design. Even my husband likes the pattern- something he would never admit if asked. I have now found the perfect comforter set for our bedroom.
