Bayer 502570B 24-Ounce Ready-to-Use Dual Action Rose and Flower Insect Killer Review

I used this product last year; it kills or repels Japanese Beetles on contact and has residual effects which help, easy to use.The problem is that if you spray any plants that are blooming that attract bees (most all do), it can/will kill or harm them up to several days later, saw it with my own eyes on a rose bloom I had previously sprayed 4 days later and after a rain.We have no honeybees, and other pollinators are taking up the slack, notably bumblebees and yellow jackets.This year, I cut off all the buds and blooms of my roses, so am using this product along with Sevin (on larger plants that aren't currently blooming) to keep them from devouring the foliage.I believe if you take care not to spray when bees are present and spray only plants that are not blooming OR remove the sprayed bloom immediately afterward, the bees will be all right.Also if there are blooming plants near where you spray, it would be better to cover or shield them with plastic temporarily until there's no danger of mist drifting.I don't see bees going for any plant that doesn't have blooms.I'm still using the soapy water on plants I don't want to cut the blooms off and am ready to treat the lawn for grubs.
