I offer tea to whomever visits.One day I realized that mugs were rather crass for such an ancient and delicate sharing.I sought out bone china mugs and purchased these.They are beautiful.Made in England.(I've been very disappointed in tea items from China.)However, they are not as delicate as my grandmother's bone china tea cups.If I had my druthers, the mugs would be larger and the bone china finer.In the real world, they suffice quite nicely.I would not recommend putting in dishwasher.
