I have been in the process of building my Old Country Roses collection of dinnerware and tableware over the last few months.I finally settled on a set of the gold-plated stainless steel flatware in a service for 8, with 5 serving pieces, but no chest.At approximately $120 plus shipping, it was the best value I could find.Now I think I bought too soon.If I had known that a service for 12 could be purchased, INCLUDING the storage chest, I definitely would have purchased this at the advertised sale price.I do love the flatware; it's excellent quality, heavy, and well-balanced, with thick gold plating on the rose designs.If you have or want to have an Old Country Roses dinnerware collection, and you want a full service for 12, this is the flatware set you should get.
